Designed with those seeking a more compact solution in mind, the Black Hole Skimmers Nano surface skimmer delivers equal potency to its larger counterpart. Despite its smaller size, it boasts equivalent power to the original Black Hole Skimmer. You have the option to affix it directly to the provided BHS-160 powerhead or attach it to an aquarium wall using an 18mm hose, which then connects to the BHS-160 powerhead positioned at the aquarium's base. This configuration often results in reduced noise when the pump is situated at the tank's bottom.
The filter chamber, measuring 0.75x1.5”, accommodates a variety of filter media types to suit your needs.
 
Effectively removes surface debris and oils from surface. Also aids in filtering the entire aquarium by creating an upward flow into the skimmer.
Distributes clean filtered surface water deeper in the tank for better plant and animal health.
Accepts 41 mm diameter filter media, which can be cut to size with the help of the included filter media template. Can also work with filter floss, sponges, and/or activated carbon. Comes with a sturdy template to make cutting media easier.
